About
2001 is a 10th (top) floor unit featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a Queen sized bed and there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room, accommodating 6 guests. The condo has a living room and a full kitchen, and Sugar Top boasts incredible long range views. Kitchen has pots and pans, dishes and silverware, small appliances. NO coffee is provided, but we are now stocking units with salt and pepper, and cooking oil. The condo has an electric fireplace insert, so you won't have to worry about buying wood or not being able to use it when there's high wind. The ground floor of the condo building features an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness room.
Sugar Top condos do not have air conditioning.
The units only have a 38 gallon water heater, due to space limitations.
This only permits a 3-5 minute shower before the heater needs to recycle and reheat. .

I have stayed at Sugar Mountain several times but unfortunately this condo is not up to par. The furniture squeaks, and has no padding and you can feel the wood in the arms of the sofas. There are more than 20 flower arrangements on every single shelf every single part of the condo. They were five on top of the TV itself. There are so many knickknacks and decorations that it is impossible to put anything on any shelf. There is even a China cabinet in the tiny dining room with more dried flowers. Who needs a China cabinet on vacation? I was very disappointed as most of the things in this condo. It looked like they were picked up at yard sales. For instance, a picture in the bathroom had been glued back together, and the dried glue was oozing out of the corners of the frame. As always, the cleaning stuff were amazing the condo was very clean other than all of the knickknacks and decorations everywhere which made it impossible to set any of our belongings down anywhere. I’m sure it was a nightmare for them to clean as well. I would not recommend this unit even though it is on the 10th floor and has a fabulous view.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we're pleased with our condo rental. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and very comfy furniture throughout. The view from our patio was amazing! It was also very convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. The only downsides were that they were doing construction while we were there and it made unloading and loading our luggage very difficult and time consuming. This was not really fully addressed before we went so it wasn't a pleasant surprise. This would be something for elderly to consider while construction is still going on because it would be impossible for them to load their luggage by themselves with how far you have to walk. The only other downside is that there was a lot of artificial flowers throughout the condo and they had a lot of dust on them. This really bothered our allergies. I know those things gather dust easily and may not be the best choice for a rental.

Great view from the 10th floor. Ice maker worked great, great water pressure and hot water. Cable service included. Attractive room. Would have liked more pillows. The room was fairly stocked. We love Sugar Top Resort. May not request this room again but it was nice to stay in for several days.

We really enjoyed our stay and the condo met all our needs. The power went out one night but the generators kept the elevator and hall lights on until power was restored. This is close to Sugar mtn skiing and the rental shops. We will be back!

We were very pleased with our experience at Sugar Mountain. The only thing we were not too pleased with was the tv service. We are not used to Sky Best. THe condo was very clean and well decorated. The view was great. WE will stay again.

I was very unhappy. The one filter l had in place was for a fireplace.Unit wS clean, beds sucked.The fireplace was an electric insert that didn't work. By definition of fireplace has fire not electricity. I felt ripped off, no fie, Don't list it as having a fire place. Fill like l should have gotten a refund just off that.Left a day early, never do that on vacation.

The house was excellent. Overall the facility was good. The staff were less than enthusiastic and mostly careless for the guest. The only friendly person was the shuttle guy.

Condo was beautiful. View was spectacular! It was a last-minute weekend getaway for my wife and me. The condo was available for 2 nights on VRBO. We felt the price was reasonable, and the process of making reservations was not difficult. We would love to go back again. Only downside - my fear of heights got to me on the balcony. That’s my problem - not the facility. Tenth floor balcony - on top of a mountain - not for the faint hearted!

This was a cute little condo on the top floor with the most amazing views. Comfortable place to stay. We had a few issues with some things like the tv not working, but we weren't there to watch tv anyways. It was a nice quiet building and perfect for a family getaway. Checkout procedures were not explained well and there were conflicting instructions between what the building said to do and what the rental company said to do. We did our best LOL. Overall we loved staying here and would book again for sure. I can't say enough how awesome that balcony view was - even at night it was amazing.

To start with the place actually looks better then the photos shared. It was really nice view from the balcony. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Most of the attractions are nearby which makes it a great location. Kitchen was fully equipped. We were a little skeptical about the place as it said the building doesn't have air conditioning but really it wasn't a problem. Even they have provided some box fans in case if its needed. Check-in was super easy with Cody @ SugarTop Rentals Office. I will definitely recommend this and would love to visit again.

The process was seamless from booking to directions on where and how to pick up keys. The Condo was super comfortable with two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. This spacious Condo with amazing views from the balcony was everything we expected and more.

We went on an extremely cold week, the fireplace was essentially just for aesthetics and provided no heat at all. The bedrooms didn't have great ventilation so they were colder than the living space. But it was well stocked and nicely furnished. Also there is no shuttle on weekdays so consider that for getting to slopes!

Conformatble property located 10 minutes away form the slopes. Plus: the heated the pool (although it was pretty cold). The property overall was in good condition although needs some TLC. NO hangers, full of artificial plants, old phonebook guides and magazines and outdated furniture. If you do not care much about it, it is a great place to stay for the price.
